First Coin Minted With Augmented Reality

A new Aruban coin is out now, first in the world minted with Augmented Reality technology, which means that anyone with a smartphone can scan the coin and get information on whatever is on the coin. In this case it's the endangered Aruban shoco (owl). It looks pretty nifty to me. Minted by the Royal Dutch Mint and only 2,500 released, it's sure to be desired by collectors.
